After successful careers as a Biotech Executive at Amgen Inc. and a Civil Engineer Corps Officer in the US Navy, decided to leverage my construction, engineering, and management background to start a real estate investment business in 2015. Emerald Home Investments, LLC engages in residential redevelopment and new construction development projects primarily in Southern California.

Over three decades of experience managing projects and holding teams accountable for critical timelines as well as budget management. Have managed over $300M, including complex construction projects from $3M utility overhaul on 24 active Navy piers, $8M new military housing barracks, and gigantic over-the-horizon radar structures, to $40M FDA-licensed facilities with heavily regulated cGMP compliance, and high-end residential buildings. Seasoned residential redevelopment investor in Ventura, Los Angeles, and San Diego Counties. Most recent construction development experience includes $5M vertical construction of custom residential homes, including multi-family units, $2.3M phase one planning and permitting for a 46-lot subdivision, and planning and design of a new 8 luxury homes subdivision.

As one of the top 400 executives at Amgen, managed multiple organizations, including international departments with staff located in England, ran the world’s largest biotech mammalian manufacturing plant located in Colorado, and led the raw materials supply chain team to support the construction of the first FDA licensed commercial disposable manufacturing facility in Singapore.
